Gallery Hire

Malvern Artists Society Gallery is available for hire by individuals or groups wishing to exhibit paintings, graphic art, sculpture and pottery. Exhibits must be the original work of the hirer and not in any way a copy of works by other artists.

The gallery is a well equipped modern gallery with two rooms. The gallery is suitable for solo or group exhibitions, with the capacity to hang around 100 small works or 50 medium sized works.

Located in the busy Melbourne suburb of Malvern, about 8 km from the city, the gallery boasts main road frontage, easy access to public transport and free parking.

Gallery Hire Entitlements include:

• No minimum or maximum period of hire


• Free days in which to hand and dismantle your exhibition


• No commission charged on sales of your artwork


• Free advertising of your exhibition in Malvern Artist Society regular newsletter (Check with office for deadlines)


• Use of kitchen facilities on your opening night


• Use of easels, plinths, sales desk, and other gallery furniture


• Use of microphone and speaker system on opening night
