Maxine Wade
Maxine’s profession has always been teaching art; she trained at Melbourne University, going on to teach art for over 30 years.
Since 2004 Maxine has taught painting, drawing and life drawing at a variety of Melbourne Art Societies (currently MAS, McClelland Guild of Artists, Glen Eira Cheltenham Art Group, Brighton Art Society, Victorian Artists’ Society and Ashburton Community Centre).
Maxine is a long term member of the Watercolour Society of Victoria and the Victorian Artists’ Society (where she exhibits her work). In addition to her regular classes, Maxine performs demonstrations and leads workshops, as well as judging art shows. She has written many articles for Australian Artist Magazine and also leads “paintED.Tours” to Europe.
