Objectives

Malvern Artists’ Society is committed to providing members with a welcoming, inclusive and enjoyable artistic experience.

Since its inception in 1957, Malvern Artists' Society (MAS) has encouraged the advancement of all types of visual art and has welcomed members of all skill levels. MAS operates its own Art Centre, including a spacious, light filled Gallery and a professionally equipped Studio.


The objectives of MAS include:

MAS runs a busy exhibition program for individuals and groups, embracing visual artists of all types. Art classes, demonstrations and workshops are conducted throughout the year by accomplished artists in a diverse range of mediums. Member only exhibition opportunities and events are also held regularly, complemented by publications and an art library.

Art lovers and artists of all ages and stages of artistic development are encouraged to join MAS. Current members include those working in the following mediums: painting, drawing, watercolour, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, textiles, woodwork, photography, mixed media and digital art.

MAS is located in Malvern (Melbourne, Australia), with high profile frontage to High Street and easy access by public transport.
