Narelle Callen is a mixed media artist and designer based on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia.

With a deep connection to the coastline, gardens, and ever-changing light of my local surroundings, I create vibrant, expressive work that captures both energy and calm. My background spans design, architecture, interior styling and project management.

Class Information

Narelle’s course will cover a good balance between skill-building and creative development. The progression through the weeks includes:

  1. Observation and simplification (Weeks 1–2)
  2. Different abstract approaches (Weeks 3–4)
  3. Developing a body of work (Week 5)
  4. Working at scale (Weeks 6)
  5. NO class week 7
  6. Independent exploration (Weeks 8–9)
